We know that it’s not feasible for our small team to personally accompany every individual seeking charism discernment. That’s why we want to empower people like you—people who feel called to bring this ministry directly to your local parish.
This program is offered at a low cost, ensuring accessibility for all.
This session will lay the foundation for all your future work with charisms by teaching you the basics of charisms, where they come from in Scripture and Tradition, and how to recognize them.
Knowing all 24 charisms intimately is the foundational skill of helping people discern their charisms well, so you’ll be spending time in this session learning about all 24 and how they serve the Church.
Before we learn how to help people through discernment it is vital that we have an understanding of our personal identity and how it impacts the use of our charisms.
In this session we go over the benefits of charism discernment and why it is worth the time, energy, and attention necessary to discern well.
In this session we cover what role the assessment plays in discernment and how to prepare people well to take the assessment for the most illuminating, helpful results.
In this session we cover how to post-process assessment results with someone, as well as how to help them strategize for the discernment process and move towards a commitment to their charisms.
In this session we cover the skills and strategies for facilitating both individual and small group charism discernment models in a parish setting.
To complete your program you will engage in a hands-on charism discernment practicum, going through the process of discernment with a community member and reporting on the experience.
Our vision is to have at least one certified volunteer discernment mentor in every parish, igniting spiritual growth and charism discernment across the Church.

The regular price for this training is $249, but we are currently offering a promotional enrollment at $119.

Absolutely! We have a community space in the Charism Collective on our website for all our volunteer training students, moderated by our Community Manager.
Our Administrative Assistant and Community Manager are available to answer your technical questions on a daily basis and there will be one live call with Jill available to all students.
The training is 3 months long. The first two months you will be working through new weekly modules and taking a brief quiz to show your mastery. The final month of the program is focused on completing your practicum and going through the charism discernment process with a community member.
New modules release each Friday. The course is self-paced within a 3-month window, though all coursework must be completed for program completion.
There are no prerequisites to this training, except an openness to the Holy Spirit and faith that grace moves powerfully through His presence.

All the course materials — video trainings, worksheets, and additional resources — are available through your login portal on ManyPartsMinistries.com.
You will have a 6-month access window. If you need additional time, 3 more months can be made available. After that, re-enrollment is required.
Module quizzes assess concept understanding. Reflection questions are included for personal use. A written practicum assignment is required for completion.
