Welcome to Opt-Out October — a free, month-long invitation to clear out the excess and make room for deeper prayer, trust, and the use of your God-given charisms. For five weeks we let go of what weighs us down — physical, then emotional, then mental, then spiritual clutter — and, once there's space, we listen for the best yes God is inviting us into. Start where you are; you're not behind. Grace, never shame. Why Opt-Out October?Every day, more things compete for your attention than you could ever say yes to. They quietly drain your peace, your time, and your energy — until there's little room left for what matters most. Opt-Out October is a chance to intentionally opt out of the unnecessary so you can say your best yes to God and the life He's calling you to. We'll declutter your spaces, your heart, and your mind — not for its own sake, but to make room for the One who wants to move through you.Saying no to overcommitting, clearing physical clutter, handing God something heavy you've been carrying — this month helps you make space for Him to work.Pick Your LaneThis year the challenge is one guide with three lanes, so it never has to feel all-or-nothing. Pick the one that fits your season — and move up or down any week:

Dip In — one intentional act each week. About five minutes. Everyone can finish.

Dive In — a small daily practice, about ten to fifteen minutes a day.

All In — the full experience: the daily practice plus the community, the bingo blackout, and inviting someone to do it with you.

The guide lives on our website, so it's always a click away. And each Thursday in October (Oct 1, 8, 15, 22, and 29), a new guest episode of the Charisms for Catholics podcast arrives as your companion for that week's theme.Better Together (Optional)You can do the whole challenge on your own — but it's sweeter with company. If you'd like it, download the free Many Parts app and join the "Opt-Out October" channel in the Charism Collective Community to share the month and cheer each other on:

Post a before-and-after of a decluttered space.

Share a reflection on an emotional or spiritual breakthrough.

Celebrate a small win — like saying no to one unnecessary commitment.

Sharing keeps you accountable, and it just might be the nudge someone else needed.Fun Ways to ParticipateOpt-Out October Bingo — Grab your bingo card and mark a square each time you complete an act. Declutter a drawer, unfollow a distracting account, say no to something that isn't yours to carry — every square is a small step toward more peace. Complete a row and share it in the community; black out the whole card by November 4 and we'll gift you a free ebook of your choice.Social Media — Use #OptOutOctober to share your progress and what you're making room for. What You'll Gain

Clarity — with fewer distractions, God's voice and direction come through more clearly.

Peace — a decluttered life gives you room to breathe, pray, and trust more deeply.

Purpose — with less weighing you down, you have the energy to say yes to what actually fits your gifts.

Ready to Opt Out?Join us this October. Sign up free to get the guide, your bingo card, and a new podcast episode each week — then take the first small step toward making space for prayer, trust, and your charisms.
